Guided hikes

We propose six guided hikes in the Terre & Côte Basques area:

off the beaten track from April to September, our guide will help you discover our land’s hidden treasures.

In Sare: La Rhune’s western slopes

La Rhune, the mythical Basque mountain, can be climbed in different ways. On this hike you will ascend the western slope towards the largely unknown "Fago" summit.

One thing is for certain: you’ll meet more pottoks than hikers  ... and with a little luck the griffon vultures will also be in the skies of the Basque Country ...

(July & August: departures every Friday morning)

Ascain: Suhalmendi panoramic viewpoint

Biriatou: Meet the Pottok (small wild horses)

Saint Pée sur Nivelle: Gastronomic hike

Urrugne: Panoramic view over the ocean

Nocturnal: Shepherd’s evening on the slopes of La Rhune
